As most people suggest dropping a 4AGE20V into my AE102 Sprinter, I think its time to start looking around for someone to slip one in for me. Are there any suggestions as to where I should start looking? I live on the Central Coast (NSW) so more than likely Sydney could be the most viable option. Are there places around who "specialize" in engine work of this nature? Probably better to go to someone who has some done something like this before, I suppose. Maybe someone who has had some experience remappping/reflashing ECUs as well. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the options. The 7AGE hybrid sounds interesting. From what I have read, this would be a combo of a 4AGE and my existing 7AFE engines. Would I get away with the purchase of just the motor (short or long?) or would I have to go for a front cut, with ecu, wiring loom etc.

Hi All, My '94 Sprinter has now done over 300K kms and I'm looking at giving it a bit of a"tune up". Has anyone got any suggestions to what can be done to the current motor, i.e. bore - stroke - turbo. Or dropping another engine into it, preferably, with a minimum of fuss. Any ideas will be much appreciated. Thanks
