  1. yeah its a wilwood preportioning valve.
  2. its a master from a 94 mitsubishi pajero.
  3. Hey man, I'm using a mitsi pajero master on my ke70 with dinalites and its awesome.15/16ths bore. easy to bolt up to with standard lines too.
  4. Been pretty busy lately getting all the bits and peices finished off. Bent up and ran some fuel line, installed new pump, modded bracket. Chucked tank back in, installed driveshaft, bleed brakes and clutch Spent hours reasearching wiring info and shit and wired up everything. Tucked it away. Made sure everything was checked of the list. Filled with fluids. And in the end after some head scraching and calls to the champ Brendon, got to drive up the driveway. So stoaked, Just need exhaust finished and cert man here we come.
  5. So the engines in and I'm one step closer to getting this thing on the road without a tow rope or trailer, stoaked Started mounting up intercooler, rad+ electric fan and oil cooler. Gotta modify, cut and weld up a few things but should hopefully all come together
  6. Not much action lately but managed to get a few things sorted, Decided where I wanted all my gauges and mounted ready for when i start wiring up the car. Sorted out the fuel tank for efi. I scavenged a skyline tank with pickup, cut a hole and got it all soldered in the position need. Also modded fuel sender because it hit the new bowl in the bottom. Just gotta sort out a new pump then bend up some fuel line Also scored some BC Shocks, TRD Springs and some BC Perches to sort out the rear end. 13's
  7. yeah cheers man, thats what I'm hoping. All the little things i wasn't quite happy with on the old one I'm changing about this one.
  8. Hey guys, so ive been finishing off this TE71 pedal box. At first i thought sweet its gonna work out. But then NO! 2 problems, steering wheel was out of alignment and clutch pedal hit very bottom of column. Luckily ive been speaking with a 86fiend and he sent me a link for a spacer. So i went out and brought a tap and die set and came up with this. And for the clutch pedal i got my stock brake pedal and welded it and chopped clutch pedal to suit. it feels good and in the right position unlike bending it. prety happy Also in the last few weeks ive manage to keep collecting the parts that i need for this sucker. Got stuff like exhaust, bov, gauges and most exciting of the lot, Some adjustable front suspension. They've got Wilwood 4pot calipers and vented disks, ps arms, rosejointed lower arms. Should give me enough stopping power to get cert, and its still possible to run 14's Just waiting to get engine all mounted up and then i'll have all guns blazing
  9. hey shazza, have grinded off crossmember mounts and building up off that.
  10. well for my gearbox setup once again i have put a split my ca gearbox and put the rear half of a skyline r33 gearbox onto it. the main reason i have done this is because the ca box is about 75mm longer then a rb box. in turn makes you have to chop more out of your car and hits handbrake. Plus its stronger and has mechanical speedo. also this week, i have installed my ae86 diff with some of my leftover parts that i had held onto for some reason from my old car cars almost ready to mount engine. can't wait. more stuff to come
  11. Well after going through my s-chassis crisis i decided to go back to the small rwd which i love. So recently picked up this tidy granny spec 1983 Ke70 Gl Limited Edition goodness. Plans as the title suggests is to get back to where i was around a year ago when some lowlife stole my ride. With a few changes here and there. So I'm going with a CA18DET between the towers. http://corollabrotherhood.blogspot.co.nz...-ke70.html Now started the collecting of parts to get this project started. I picked up a CA18DET and Box with loom ecu etc AE86 Discbrake rear, with new bushes, bearings, rotors, rebuilt capipers and a 2way LSD to top it off Te71 Pedalbox New clutch and Lightned Flywheel Turbo Manifold Chucked a new timing belt and tensioners and waterpump on. New thermostat, clutch and flywheel fitted.
  12. That was the best link ever!!!
  13. hey man, when i did conversion i had the same issue. the ca box has an electric sender so wont work with ke machanical speedo. i had to get a mechanical speed sensor from a rb20 gearbox (i think, can't 100% remember) then i used a adapter from a ke30 that has a 90 degree bend? to join the stock ke cable. ended being 12km/hr different. at 50km/hr it would say 62. hope this helps, its been a while
  14. thanks man, hope it turns up soon.
  15. hey guys my ride got stolen on friday 18th. Anyone in nz could you keep an eye out cheers john ph 0212960518 or 8279906 24/7
  16. hey man, you can use a k50 gearbox behind a 4age, just not the one you have from the 4k. what you want is a k50 gearbox from behind a ae85 or ae70 with a 3a engine. easy for a 4age conversion because you don't need to go hydrolic clutch. good to get up and running. i had a k50 behind a 4age for a while with no worries. the ke70 diff went first. sweet, john
  17. hey dude have you read my build up done a few months back. I'm using a integra rad and its sweet as and will keep the budget low, as for gearbox fully recomend using a rb gearbox shifter is 75mm further foward then the ca one and wont get in the way of ya handbrake. Just get a custom driveshaft made up, its not that expensive. cheers
  18. yeah man, bang on r33 gearbox on ca bellhousing. i have used a ae86 2 piece driveshaft and welded yolk on so i could have a driveshaft loop because to cert here you need one. have ya made a decision then?
  19. yep prety much, steering rack is quite close, also i would recommend if you wanted it to be a street car to do rb box on the ca bellhousing for much better shifter position and less chopping of the car.
  20. engine is in my ke70 this pic is how high or low its mounted,
  21. hey mate, ive just done this conversion and tried to do rb mounts. yes the ca engine mounts bolted up to factory ke crossmember with rb mounts, BUT the engine sump was about 60mm off the crossmember. so we welded custom mounts onto the ke crossmember to suit to get engine lower.
  22. nice work man what gearbox are you using?
  23. managed to get warrent so mega stoaked, should keep the fuzz at bay ( i hope)
  24. cheers man, piping was a tight fit very close.
