The question has to be asked: Why? You either have one and should be able to find out the stud pattern by measuring, or your asking a pointless question.

First of all, thanks for the input! :jamie:

To answer your question to my question I'm waiting on delivery of a gen10 and would like to change the standard steelies&hubs caps for something more appealing. I would measure it if i had the car, but since i don't it's a bit of a problem and there's no point asking the dealers, they know nothing about the cars they sell.

anyone know? would like to change the rims as soon as it comes out.

Surely you can wait until you receive the car to check? Unfortunately no car manufacturers seem to release the stud pattern details to the general public, although you would think that certain aftermarket manufacturers would receive details (so they can make wheels for Toyota). It's a bit hard to know this stuff at such an early stage in a car's lifetime, but if you post the results up here (or elsewhere) when you know them, I'm sure a lot of people in the same boat as you would appreciate it.

yea i know i should just wait.. but i've been carless since the beginning of time and i'm really impatient.. :jamie:

i was hoping someone would know, but i guess i'll have to find out for everyone else!

Sometimes there's a down side to having the latest car on the market. I take it you're getting the Ascent if it's coming with steelies & hubcaps. Did you consider simply buying one of the next models up instead?

did consider it :jamie: but i'd rather pay for the levin ZR, but that costs way too much for a rolla..

i'm satisfied with the ascent, as they all share the same engine, and the rest is all cosmetic. did get the 6stacker bluetooth stero though from the conquest. whether i got the conquest or the ascent i was planning on changing the rims anyway.

Ignore sauce. He/she is an idiot and is asking about a model nothing like yours hotboxcivic. sauce is almost definitely going to be banned VERY soon.

right :P

anyway, back on topic, the stud pattern is 5 x 114.3. my old GTR wheels fit perfectly! except for the RWD offset.. any major damages from using a lower offset? i think GTR runs a 32 offset.

did i few quick calculations, heres what i found:

GTR rims, 30+ ET, 8J. IF corolla has a 38+ ET, 6J, then the difference would be 8mm, would a 8mm difference in offset be detrimental to the steering? perhaps spacers on the GTR rims would help equal the offset.

Because the GTR rim is 8" wide, and the Corolla rim is 6" wide, the difference is not actually 8mm. It is 17.4mm. The +38 and +30 offset measurements are how many millimetres from the centre the mounting point is, so the depth of the wheel from the hub to the inside edge is 114.2mm on the Corolla rim, and 131.6mm on the GTR rim. The GTR rim will also stick out 33.4mm further towards the outside of the car than the Corolla rim.

The only way to check will be to put the GTR rim on the Corolla and drive it around to check it doesn't rub or scrub anything. If it works out, then great, but don't be too surprised if it doesn't, as it's big change from 6" to 8" wide rims. Would be VERY cool if it works out!

Also it may not work due to the size of the centre hole. I don't know what size it is on the new Corolla, or what it is on the GTR, but just be aware that this may limit your wheel options.
