pozman Posted June 21, 2006 Author Report Posted June 21, 2006 (edited) well, after a lot of hard thinking (man it hurt) and talking to some engineers i've decided that i'm not going to let this oppertunity side through my fingers. the ca18de comes out of the silvia this weekend, so the two week break coming up will most likely be spent measuring it all out so that it all fits properly. i'm also geting the brakes off the wrecked s13 that my mates raping for it's engine, most likey getting the fuel lines and pump to play with as well. its going to be fun, will keep you all up dated. pozman Edited June 21, 2006 by pozman Quote

pozman Posted June 28, 2006 Author Report Posted June 28, 2006 when we think back it really wasn't worth the 3.55 seconds of fun (yes i did the math (I'm so board)) car is obviously running well, i should get engine this weekend, i talked to my mate and it looks like ill be getting the loom, computer, fuel pump, instrament panel, and a set of stainless extractors which is cool. whats the go on getting a fuel pump in a ke55 tank, or do you replase the hole tank? ;) Quote
ca18rolla Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Mate i put a fitting in the pick up of the tank and ran a hose to a little pre filter and into a vl turbo pump and then made new 3/8? steel buddy line to the motor which then goes through a Malpassi regulator and into fuel rail. Yeah i brought some Jasma extractors for mine (When i was going n/a) looked really sweet but where the 4-1 collector was touched the g/box on one side and some part of the steering on the other. Hope you can fit yours but! I used a Pintara speedo fitting in the box so i could run standard dash. Though i also have water temp on my hand controller and Speeco Oil press, Oil temp, Boost, and a Tacho Quote
pozman Posted June 29, 2006 Author Report Posted June 29, 2006 thats anoying aout the extractors, but don't you have a ca18 box in yours ill just cut them a make them fit, wont be as prity but will have to do i supose Quote
ca18rolla Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 yeah ca18 box but they run a elec. speedo sender so i put the CA20 speedo sender in (pintara box). Quote
